The Existential Doom for Sense: A Dialectic of the Intrinsic and the Non-Intrinsic

Abstract

Целью дипломного проекта является прояснение феномена “смысл” в значении “стремления к подлинному” и поиск ответа на вопрос, в результате какого субъективного опыта человек обнаруживает диалектическое противоречие двух модусов подлинного и неподлинного бытия.

Дипломный проект содержит критику понятия “смысл” в теории логотерапии Виктора Франкла, аналитику пограничных ситуаций в философии экзистенции Карла Ясперса, прояснение диалектического противоречия подлинного и неподлинного в свете онтологического различия Хайдеггера, а также предположения касаемые возможных причин возникновения “стремления к подлинному” в пограничной ситуации.

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to clarify the phenomenon of “sense” in the meaning of “striving for the intrinsic” and to find an answer to the question, as a result of which subjective experience a person discovers a dialectical contradiction of two modes of intrinsic and non- intrinsic being.

The thesis project contains a critique of the concept of “sense” in the theory of logotherapy by Viktor Frankl. An analysis of borderline situations in the Karl Jaspers’s philosophy of existence. Clarification of the dialectical contradiction of the authentic and inauthentic in the light of Heidegger's ontological difference. As well as assumptions concerning the possible causes of the “desire for the intrinsic” in a borderline situation.
