Данная работа посвящена исследованию творчества Р. Кента, его иллюстрациям, выполненным к роману Г. Мелвилла "Моби Дик", анализу данного романа в ретроспективе XIX - XX веков, а также определению места и значения книжной графики Р. Кента в современном мире.

This work is devoted to the study of the work of R. Kent, his illustrations made for the novel by G. Melville "Moby Dick", the analysis of this novel in a retrospective of the 19th - 20th centuries, as well as the place and significance of R. Kent's book graphics of the universal world.
