Assessing seasonal changes of hydrological morphometric characteristics of glaciogenic lakes in Altai

Abstract

Данная работа призвана оценить изменения гидролого-морфометрических показателей и их сезонные колебания на трех озерах горной системы Алтай. Объектами исследования являются три озера: озеро Нурган, расположенное в горном массиве Цамбагарав, которое является бывшим приледниковым озером и имеет с ледником Эрегтийн связь по средствам многочисленных ручьев и приледниковые озера Барсово и Гачи-Коль, расположенные в другом горном массиве ─ Табын-Богдо-Ола. Предметом исследования являются сезонные значения гидролого-морфометрических показателей перечисленных выше озер, в частности, уровневый режим, объем, сток воды, подземный сток, площадь зеркала поверхности водоемов, средняя и максимальная глубина, длина и максимальная ширина. Первая глава дает ясное представление читателю о физико-географическом положение, как и всей физико-географической области исследования, так и отдельных ее районов, где располагаются данные озера. В ходе изложения своей работы автор переходит от общих теоретико-методологических основ определения сезонных изменений гидролого-морфометрических характеристик, указанных во второй главе, непосредственно к их расчетам в третьей главе. Такая последовательность глав демонстрирует переход от теоретических суждений к практическим подтверждениям.

This work is intended to evaluate changes in hydrological and morphometric parameters and their seasonal fluctuations on three lakes of the Altai mountain system. The objects of study are three lakes: Lake Nurgan, located in the Tsambagarav mountain range, which is a former periglacial lake and has a connection with the Eregtiin glacier through numerous streams, and the periglacial lakes Barsovo and Gachi-Kol, located in another mountain range ─ Tabyn-Bogdo-Ola . The subject of the study is the seasonal values of the hydrological and morphometric parameters of the lakes listed above, in particular, the level regime, volume, water runoff, underground runoff, surface area of water bodies, average and maximum depth, length and maximum width. The first chapter gives the reader a clear idea of the physical-geographical position, as well as the entire physical-geographical area of study, as well as its individual regions where these lakes are located. In the course of presenting his work, the author moves from the general theoretical and methodological foundations for determining seasonal changes in hydrological and morphometric characteristics, indicated in the second chapter, directly to their calculations in the third chapter. This sequence of chapters demonstrates the transition from theoretical judgments to practical evidence.
