The Chinese community in Southeast Asian countries in the 19th - 20th centuries: A sociocultural transformation

Магистерская диссертация Сащенко Марии Васильевны на тему «Китайская община в странах Юго-Восточной Азии в XIX-XX вв.: социокультурная трансформация» посвящена исследованию социокультурных процессов, происходящих в юго-восточном регионе в XIX-XX вв. Целью данного исследования является анализ социокультурной трансформации китайской диаспоры в Юго-Восточной Азии и выявление разнообразия и специфики китайских общин в странах этого региона. Основными задачами исследования являются: рассмотрение социокультурной природы миграции, описание культурного облика китайской диаспоры в странах ЮВА, анализ основных культурных факторов этнической трансформации. Магистерская диссертация состоит из введения, трёх глав, заключения, списка использованной литературы и приложения. Список использованной литературы насчитывает девяносто два наименования. В приложении содержатся фотографии, сделанные автором во время путешествия по Юго-Восточной Азии.

The master's thesis of Sashchenko Mariia Vasilyevna on the topic «The Chinese community in the countries of Southeast Asia in the XIX-XX centuries: sociocultural transformation» is devoted to the study of sociocultural processes taking place in the south-eastern region in the XIX-XX centuries. The purpose of this study is to analyze the sociocultural transformation of the Chinese diaspora in Southeast Asia and identify the diversity and specificity of Chinese communities in the countries of this region. The main objectives of the study are: consideration of the sociocultural nature of migration, description of the cultural image of the Chinese diaspora in the Southeast Asian countries, analysis of the main cultural factors of ethnic transformation. The master's thesis consists of an introduction, three chapters, a conclusion, a list of references and attachments. The list of references includes ninety-two titles. Attachments contain photos taken by the author during a trip to Southeast Asia.
