The fan art in Russia in the second half of the 19th - early 20th centuries

Abstract

В выпускной квалификационной работе на основе обширной историографии было проведено исследование, которое охватывает историю развития западноевропейского и русского искусства веера в России в период между второй половиной XIX и началом XX века, на примере вееров, хранящихся в России. В работе выделены модные тенденции в искусстве веера середины XIX начала XX вв., подчеркнуты специфические особенности русских вееров и приведены основные центры по производству вееров России. Обозначен ряд вопросов, требующих дальнейшего исследования.

This final qualification work presents the investigation carried out on the basis of the extensive historiography. The work studies the history of west european and russian fan in Russia in the period between the middle XIX and the beggining of the XX centuries. The history is illustrated by fans from russian collections. In the qualification work contains fashion trеnds in the fan art in that period and specific characteristics of russian fans. There is data about russian centers of fans production. Some issues to be investigated further are raised in the presented paper.
