The role of "football diplomacy" in resolving social and cultural problems at the beginning of the 21st century

Abstract

Работа посвящена изучению роли "футбольной дипломатии" как в решении социо-гуманитарных и культурных проблем, так и ее роли в современных международных отношениях в общем и целом. Оцениваются перспективы "футбольной дипломатии", а также выделяются ее ключевые особенности, как в контексте публичной дипломатии, так и в качестве обособленного феномена. Кроме того, в данной работе отражаются возможности "футбольной дипломатии" как политического инструмента, посредством которого открываются новые возможности для разрешения разного рода международных проблем и конфликтов.

Graduation qualification thesis explores the role of "football diplomacy" in resolving of social, humanitarian and cultural problem, as well as its role in modern international relations in general. Also, it assesses the prospects of the "football diplomacy" and outlines its crucial features within the context of public diplomacy as well as an independent phemonemon. Besides, this thesis reflects the potential of the "football diplomacy" as a political tool, by means of which new opportunities for settlement of various international problem and conflicts can be emerged.
