The policy of multiculturalism and national identity in modern Europe

Abstract

На сегодняшний день одной из самых актуальных проблем в странах мирового сообщества является интеграция различных этнокультурных групп в одно общество. Страны Европы, применяющие в качестве политики интеграции модель мультикультурализма, имеют полиэтнический состав населения и принимают ежегодно сотни тысяч временных или постоянных иммигрантов. На современном этапе особенно остро стоит проблема интеграции самых разных в этнокультурном плане иммигрантов, прибывающих на их территорию из всех уголков мира. Перед политическими элитами стран Европы стоит задача выработки новых механизмов, на основе которых миграционная система будет работать более эффективно. Объектом исследования является политика мультикультурализма как одна из моделей политики интеграции, а также национальная идентичность населения стран Западной Европы. Предметом исследования является имплементация политики мультикультурализма в Европе. Целью исследования является выявление последствий имплементации политики мультикультурализма в Европе, а также выявление влияния политики мультикультурализма в Европе на состояние общеевропейской идентичности. Структурно работа состоит из трех глав, подразделенных на параграфы, введения, заключения, списка использованных источников, а также приложений с иллюстративным материалом.

Nowadays one of the most topical issues in the countries of the world community is the integration of different ethnic and cultural groups into one society. European countries that use the model of multiculturalism as an integration policy have a multi-ethnic composition of the population and accept hundreds of thousands of temporary or permanent immigrants every year. At the present stage, the problem of integration of the most diverse in ethno-cultural terms immigrants coming to their territory from all over the world is particularly acute. The political elites of Europe are faced with the task of developing new mechanisms on the basis of which the migration system will work more effectively. The object of the study is the policy of multiculturalism as one of the models of integration policy, as well as the national identity of the population of Western Europe. The subject of the study is the implementation of the policy of multiculturalism in Europe. The aim of the study is to define the consequences of the implementation of multiculturalism policy in Europe, as well as to identify the impact of multiculturalism policy in Europe on the state of European identity. Structurally, the work consists of three chapters divided into paragraphs, introduction, conclusion, list of sources, as well as applications with illustrative material.
