Economic relations between the Kingdom of Sweden and the Republic of Estonia: Problems and prospects

Abstract

В данном исследовании проанализированы проблемы развития эстонско – шведских инновационно - экономических отношений. В этой работе выявлены теоретические основы предполагаемого исследования, исторический контекст формирования отношений, а также особенности указанных взаимоотношений на сегодняшний день. Особое внимание было уделено рассмотрению правового регулирования инновационного развития обеих стран, а также его роль в развитии инновационно – экономического потенциала обеих стран. В частности, были предложены дальнейшие перспективные направления развития эстноско – шведских экономических отношений в рамках инновационной экономики и инновационно – экономической модернизации обоих государств ради повышения собственной конкурентоспособности и поддержания плодотворного сотрудничества.

The presented study analyzes the problems of Estonian – Swedish innovation and economic relations development. In this work, the theoretical foundations of the proposed study, the historical context of the stated relations formation, as well as the today’s relations features are revealed. Particular attention was paid to the legal regulation of innovative development of both countries, as well as its role in the development of innovative and economic potential of each country. Moreover, further promising directions of development of the Estonian – Swedish economic relations within the framework of innovation economy and innovation and economic modernization of both countries for the sake of increasing their own competitiveness and maintaining fruitful cooperation were suggested.
