The application of Chinese carved printing in graphic design and the museum environment: a case study of the Suzhou Museum

Работа посвящена исследованию на тему применения традиционных элементов графики китайской печати в современном дизайне, на примере графического сопровождения для выставки, плакатов, упаковки, арт-объектов и внедрения графики в среду реального музея. На основе исследования планируется концепция выставки, на которой будут представлены графические носители разработанные на основе китайской резной печати. А также арт-объекты, спроектированные на основе элементов печати, и оформление выставочного зала. Выставка будет проходить в музее Сучжоу. Была создана 3D-модель выставочных залов и музея Сучжоу, в ней размещены разработанные плакаты, арт-объекты и элементы оформления выставки, демонстрация проходит с помощью 3D-анимации. К выставке подготовлена графическая продукция: плакаты, открытки, графическое решение упаковки, средовой дизайн , арт-объекты, анимационный ролик.В проекте использован единый метод графического дизайна. Это позволяет обозначить единство бренда.В проекте применены единые текстуры, орнамент и типографика. Общий графический принцип использован в графических решениях носителей проекта.Выполнен ряд дизайнерских аппликаций с использованием китайской печати как основы традиционных узоров. Цель проекта Создать визуальные решения, сочетающие современность и древность. Использовать графический дизайн как элемент, чтобы передать культуру Китайской печати.

The work is devoted to research on the use of traditional elements of Chinese print graphics in modern design, using the example of graphic support for an exhibition, posters, packaging, art objects and the introduction of graphics into the environment of a real museum. On the basis of the research, the concept of an exhibition is planned, which will present graphic media developed on the basis of Chinese carved printing. As well as art objects designed on the basis of print elements and the design of the exhibition hall. The exhibition will be held at the Suzhou Museum. A 3D model of the exhibition halls and the Suzhou Museum was created, it contains the developed posters, art objects and design elements of the exhibition, the demonstration is carried out using 3D animation. Graphic products have been prepared for the exhibition: posters, postcards, a graphic solution for packaging, environmental design, art objects, an animation video. The project uses a single method of graphic design. This allows for the unity of the brand. The project uses the same textures, ornament and typography. The general graphic principle was used in the graphic solutions of the project media. A number of design applications were made using Chinese printing as the basis for traditional patterns. Project goal To create visual solutions that combine modernity and antiquity. Use graphic design as an element to convey the culture of Chinese printing.
