"Cultural stop" as a concept for developing the Konyushenny yard space based on environmental design methods

Abstract

Диссертация посвящена проблемам развития депрессивной среды в историческом центре города на примере средового проектирования территории Конюшенного двора по адресу Конюшенная пл., д. 2литВ. В качестве гипотезы выдвигается предположение, что драйвером для развития депрессивной среды может стать создание общественного пространства с современной формой коммуникации с использованием методик средового подхода. В первой главе рассматриваются методики средового подхода и дизайн-компоненты, актуальные для исторической и депрессивной среды, а также изучен международный опыт развития и оценка отечественного опыта проектирования современных общественных пространств на месте социально-неадаптированных городских территорий. Во второй главе производиться комплексный анализ территории Конюшенного двора, включающий в себя исторический анализ, архитектурно-градостроительный контекст, социальный контекст, проблематику и потенциалы развития комплекса. В третьей главе выдвигается проектное предложение по преобразованию территории с помощью методов средового дизайна и концептуального моделирования. Для развития депрессивной среды в самом центре города был выбран метод сценарного моделирования как основа для формирования нового общественного пространства с современной формой коммуникации. Три сценария на основе поведенческого анализа (интуитивный, целевой, и событийный) отражены в объемно-планировочном решении Конюшенного двора с помощью динамичных объектов, трансформирующих пространство под определенный сценарий.

The master thesis is devoted to the problems of the development of a depressive environment in the historical center of the city on the example of environmental design of the territory of the Konyushenny yard at Konyushennaya square, 2litV. The hypothesis is suggested that the creation of a public space using the method of the environmental approach might become a driver for the development of a depressive environment The first chapter examines the methods of the environmental approach and design components that are relevant for the historical and depressive environment, as well as the international experience of development and the assessment of domestic experience in the design of modern public spaces in place of socially unadapted urban areas. In the second chapter, a comprehensive analysis of the territory of the Konyushenny Dvor is carried out, including a historical analysis, architectural and urban planning context, social context, problems and development potentials of the complex. In the third chapter, a project proposal is put forward for the transformation of the territory using the methods of environmental design and conceptual modeling. The modeling method was chosen as the basis for the formation of a new public space with a modern form of communication for the development of a depressive environment in the city center. Three scenarios based on behavioral analysis (intuitive, target, and event-driven) are reflected in the space-planning solution of the Konyushenny yard with the help of dynamic objects that transform the space for a specific scenario.
