Factors of social stigmatisation of people with mental disorders in contemporary Russian society

Abstract

Работа посвящена изучению отношения общества к людям с психическими расстройствами и отношения к ним студентов различных направлений обучения из Санкт-Петербурга. Объектом исследования являются стцденты Санкт-Петербурга, обучающиеся по направлениям: социология, социальная работа, психология, медицина на разных уровнях обучения. Предметом исследования являются факторы социальной стигматизации людей с психическими расстройствами в современном российском обществе. Выпускная квалификационная работа состоит из введения, двух глав, заключения, списка литературы и трех приложений. Введение раскрывает основные понятия исследования, актуальность исследуемой темы, а также проблему, цели, задачи и гипотезы исследования. В первой главе рассматриваются теории, связанные со стигматизацией и психическими расстройствами, упоминаются уже проведенные исследования на тему стигматизации людей с психическими расстройствами, форм ее протекания и последствий для общества. Вторая глава посвящена нынешнему исследованию, процессу сбора данных, плану анализа полученных результатов опроса, основным выводам и обсуждению полученных результатов.

The work is devoted to the study of the attitude of society to people with mental disorders and the attitude of students of various fields of study from St. Petersburg. The object of the study is students of St. Petersburg, studying in the following areas: sociology, social work, psychology, medicine at different levels of education. The subject of the study is the factors of social stigmatization of people with mental disorders in modern Russian society. The final qualifying work consists of an introduction, two chapters, a conclusion, a list of references and three appendices. The introduction reveals the main concepts of the study, the relevance of the topic under study, as well as the problem, goals, objectives and hypotheses of the study. The first chapter examines the theories related to stigmatization and mental disorders, and mentions the research already conducted on the topic of stigmatization of people with mental disorders, its forms and consequences for society. The second chapter focuses on the current study, the data collection process, the plan for analyzing the survey results, the main conclusions, and the discussion of the results.
