The assessment of geotechnical conditions of a disposal site for liquid waste from mineral fertiliser production: a case study of a gypsum-storage in the Leningrad region

Abstract

Тема выпускной квалификационной работы: «Анализ инженерно-геологических условий участка для размещения жидких отходов производства минеральных удобрений (на примере гипсонакопителя, Ленинградская область). Работа содержит: 54 страницы, 9 рисунков, 9 таблиц, 19 источников, 2 приложения. Выпускная квалификационная работа состоит из введения, 4 глав и заключения. Во введении представлена актуальность изучаемой темы, приведены цель и задачи, определён объект и информационная база исследований, а также практическая значимость. В первой главе даётся физико-географическое описание региона (Ленинградской области), на территории которого находится объект исследования. Во второй главе описывается геологическое и гидрогеологическое строение региона. В третьей главе даётся характеристика объекта – гипсонакопителя: местоположение, геолого-литологическое строение, гидрогеологические условия. Описаны физико-механические свойства грунтов, а также опасные геологические процессы и явления, выделены инженерно-геологические элементы. В четвёртой главе дано описание методики расчёта устойчивости откоса гипсонакопителя, её обоснование. Произведён расчёт устойчивости. В заключении обобщены результаты проведённого исследования, сделаны выводы.

The topic of the bachelor's thesis: «Analysis of the engineering-geological conditions of the site for the placement of liquid waste from the production of mineral fertilizers (for example, a gypsum-storage, Leningrad region)» The bachelor's thesis contains: 54 pages, 9 figures, 9 tables, 19 sources, 1 supplement. The bachelor's thesis consists of an introduction, 4 chapters and a conclusion. In the introduction, the relevance of the topic under study is presented, the goal and objectives are given, the object and information base of research is determined, as well as practical significance. The first chapter contains a physical and geographical description of the region (Leningrad region), on the territory of which the object of study is located. The second chapter describes the geological and hydrogeological structure of the region. The third chapter describes the characteristics of the object - the gypsum-storage: location, geological and lithological structure, hydrogeological conditions. The physical and mechanical properties of soils, as well as hazardous geological processes and phenomena are described, engineering and geological elements are highlighted. The fourth chapter describes the methodology for calculating the stability of the slope of the gypsum-storage, and its justification. Calculation of stability has been performed. In the conclusion, the results of the study are summarized and conclusions are drawn.
