Repetition as a discursive means in Russian oral monologue speech

Abstract

Настоящая работа посвящена изучению функционирования такого специфического явления русской устной спонтанной речи, как повтор. Под повтором в данной работе понимается явление устной речи, заключающееся в неоднократной реализации одних и тех же единиц текста. Источником материала послужил корпус монологической речи "Сбалансированная аннотированная текстотека", конкретный материал исследования составил 190 единиц в контекстах. Анализ корпусного материала позволил выделить две основные функции повтора: стилистический прием и дискурсивное средство. Функция дискурсивного средства признается основной (60% случаев употребления), поэтому в работе этот аспект рассмотрен подробнее. Кроме того, в работе представлены результаты анализа повтора в спонтанном монологе и по другим критериям классификации (длина цепи, стратегия повтора). Отдельным этапом исследования стало проведение лингвистического опроса с целью подтверждения правильности выбранных критериев для определения функции повтора.

This work is devoted to the study of the functioning of such a specific phenomenon of Russian oral spontaneous speech as repetition. In this paper repetition is understood as the phenomenon of oral speech, which consists in the repeated implementation of the same text units. The source of the material was the corpus of monologue speech "Balanced Annotated Text Library", the specific material of the study was 190 units in contexts. The analysis of the corpus material allowed us to distinguish two main functions of repetition: a stylistic device and a discursive medium. The function of the discursive medium is recognized as the main one (60% of cases of use), so this aspect is considered in more detail in the work. In addition, the paper presents the results of the analysis of repetition in spontaneous monologue with other classification criteria (chain length, repetition strategy). A separate stage of the study was the conduct of a linguistic survey to confirm the correctness of the selected criteria for determining the repeat function.
