The political and military activity of B.V. Savinkov in 1917

Abstract

Данная исследовательская работа посвящена деятельности Б.В. Савинкова в 1917 году. Хронологически она разделена на две главы. Первая глава посвящена периоду эмиграции Савинкова во Франции, его работе на посту военного корреспондента во время Первой мировой войны, а также возвращению в Россию после Февральской революции весной 1917 года. Вторая глава отражает роль Савинкова в событиях Корниловского выступления, его деятельности в составе Временного правительства и участию в походе Краснова-Керенского на Петроград.

This Master's thesis is devoted to the activities of B.V. Savinkov in 1917. Chronologically, it is divided into two chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the period of Savinkov's emigration in France, his work as a war correspondent during the First World War, as well as the return to Russia after the February Revolution in spring of 1917. The second chapter is devoted to the role of Savinkov in the Kornilov affair, his activities as a part of the Russian Provisional Government and his participation in the Krasnov-Kerensky uprising.
