The socio-economic development of the Leningrad region municipalities neighbouring St Petersburg Agglomerate, 2010-2020

Abstract

Исследование посвящено социально-экономическому развитию муниципалитетов Ленинградской области, формирующих ближний пояс Санкт-Петербургской агломерации, в межпереписной период 2010-2020 гг. Описаны существующие проблемы и предложены пути их решения. В ходе работе изучены документы территориального планирования рассматриваемых территорий, дан прогноз и рекомендации по дальнейшему развитию муниципальных образований. Также в работе рассмотрены вопросы формирования городских агломераций, особенности их развития в России.

The research is devoted to the socio-economic development of the municipalities of the Leningrad region, which form the near belt of the St. Petersburg agglomeration, in the inter-census period 2010-2020. The existing problems are described and the ways of their solution are proposed. In the course of the work the documents of territorial planning of the considered territories were studied, the forecast and recommendations for further development of municipalities were given. The paper also considers the issues of formation of urban agglomerations, peculiarities of their development in Russia.
