Microplastic problems in the Arctic Ocean

Abstract

Микропластик - мельчайшие частицы, получаемые при разрушении пластиковых изделий. Из-за своих малых размеров они могут заглатываться организмами низких трофических уровней и путешествовать по трофической цепи. Представлено краткое описание методов, касающих процесса отбора и анализа проб микропластика в морской среде. В работе обсуждаются возможные пути решения данной проблемы.

Microplastic - the smallest particles that release when plastic products degrade. Because of their small size, they can be swallowed by organisms of low trophic levels and travel along a trophic chain. A brief description of the methods relating to the process of sampling and analysis of microplastic samples in the marine environment is presented.The article discusses possible ways of solving this problem
