Some peculiarities of the dynamics of the Gulf of Finland shores within the borders of St Petersburg

Abstract

В выпускной квалификационной работе рассмотрены определенные особенности динамики берегов Финского залива. На примере Курортного района проведена оценка интенсивности процессов разрушения, происходящих в береговой зоне, с учетом климатических условий, а также установлены тенденции изменения береговой линии. На основе проведенного исследования автором выявлены участки с сильно выраженными экзогенными процессами и нуждающиеся в первоочередных мероприятиях по берегозащите, а также проанализированы уже осуществленные мероприятия. Рассмотрены последствия возможной организации намывных территорий в акватории Финского залива и сделан вывод о нецелесообразности существующих намывных проектов

In the bachelor thesis, certain features of the dynamics of the shores of the Gulf of Finland are considered. On the example of the Resort District, the intensity of destruction processes in the coastal zone was assessed, taking into account climatic conditions. The trends of the development of the coastline were identified. On the basis of own field investigation, the author discovered areas with strong exogenous processes and those in need of coastal protection, as well as analyzed the measures that have been already implemented. The author also analyzed possible consequences of the project of new manmade territories in the Gulf of Finland and concluded that even the existing ones are not well developed
