Proglacial lakes of Altai in Late Pleistocene and Holocene

Abstract

В данной работе реконструируется палеогеографическая ситуация в момент существования лимногляциального комплекса в Бертекской котловине плоскогорья Укок юго-восточного Алтая. Автором в результате дешифрирования спутниковых снимков были установлены признаки существования приледникового водоема, а затем рассчитаны его морфометрические параметры и гидрологические характеристики. Полученные результаты соотнесены с данными предыдущих исследований.

In this paper, the author reconstructs the paleogeographic situation at the time of the existence of the limno-glacial complex in the Bertek basin of the Ukok plateau of the South-Eastern Altai. The author as a result of decoding satellite images were established signs of the existence of the glacial reservoir, and then calculated its morphometric parameters and hydrological characteristics. The obtained results are correlated with the data of previous studies
