Restoration of a decorative painting fragment on the door leaf in the Green Drawing Room of the Nabokov museum

Abstract

Тема диплома: «Реставрация фрагмента декоративной росписи дверного откоса Зеленой гостиной Дома В. В. Набокова». Состояние дверного откоса было удовлетворительное: подлинная окраска откоса скрыта под многочисленными малярными закрасками. Имеются вздутия и отставания всех красочных слоёв с угрозой осыпи авторского красочного слоя. Красочный слой нуждался в расчистке и укреплении. В процессе реставрации было выполнено: фотофиксация всех процессов реставрации , пробные расчистки и сопутствующие исследования. Проведено укрепление вздутий и отставаний всех красочных слоёв. Удалены малярные закраски с верхней части откоса, удалены живописные поновления, искажающие авторский рисунок в центральном наплаве, авторский красочный слой укреплён. В итоге раскрыт подлинный зеленый цвет окраски откоса, и живописные вставки на зеленом фоне.

The condition of the door slope was satisfactory: the true color of the slope is hidden under numerous paint colors. There are swellings and backlogs of all paint layers with a threat of scree on the author's paint layer. The paint layer needed to be cleared and strengthened. In the process of restoration it was carried out: photographic recording of all the processes of restoration, trial clearing and related research. The swelling and lagging of all paint layers was strengthened. Removed paint colors from the upper part of the slope, removed pictorial descriptions that distort the author's drawing in the central surfacing, the author's paint layer is reinforced. As a result, revealed a genuine green color of the slope, and pictorial inserts on a green background.
