Contract modelling in conditions of asymmetric information

Abstract

Текущая научно-исследовательская работа связана с построением экономической модели вида «принципал-агент». В данной модели за итоговую прибыль проекта отвечают два агента, один из которых занимается сбором информации о всевозможных скачках производительности, а второй - определением истинного значения скачка путем необходимых операционных усилий, основанных на полученных данных. Такое разделение полномочий нужно для того, чтобы избежать уклонения от целей директора, относящихся к оптимизации прибыли. После построения модели были определены стратегии каждого участника. Найдены оптимальные решения, при которых информатор и аналитик достигнут соглашения. Также доказаны условия, при которых они не смогут договориться. В ходе исследования обнаружены допущения, на которые должен пойти принципал при подписании контракта с агентами. Проведен параметрический анализ выявленных особенностей.

The current research work is related to the construction of an economic model of the type "principal-agent". In this model, two agents are responsible for the total profit of the project, one of which is engaged in gathering information about productivity shocks, and the second - determining the true value of the shock by the necessary operating efforts based on the data obtained. This separation of powers is necessary in order to avoid evading the principal’s goals related to profit optimization. After building the model, the strategies of each participant were defined. The optimal solutions are found in which the informant and the analyst reach an agreement. Also proved the conditions under which they will not be able to agree. The study found assumptions that the principal should make when signing a contract with agents. The parametric analysis of the revealed features is carried out.
