Fractal model of the process of constructing a picture of the world and its disorders in patients with schizophrenia

Abstract

The article describes the fractal model of genesis of schizophrenia. It is believed that in order to build a real picture of the world, а person needs to scan, classify and build a hierarchy of information coming from external world. Patients with schizophrenia disrupt the hierarchy of available information, which prevents proper classification and interpretation, making it difficult to build a picture of the world. The deficit of hierarchic information forces the psyche to command the scanner to increase the frequency of scanning. This results in oversupply of disordered information, making it even more difficult to build a picture of the world. Refs 47.
