Social adaptation of the third wave of migrants in the EU: Evidence from Germany

Abstract

Выпускная квалификационная работа посвящена миграционным проблемам в Европейском Союзе, в частности в Германии. Автор анализирует процесс адаптации мигрантов третьей волны в Германии и перспективы развития миграционной ситуации в стране. Для этого рассматривается сущность социальной адаптации в комплексе задач системы управления миграционными процессами и производится ретроспективный анализ миграционных волн в страны ЕС, выявляя и систематизируя отличительные черты и перспективы развития третьей миграционной волны по сравнению с предыдущими. На основе проведённого исследования становится видна слабая эффективность миграционной политики в различных частях Европы даже при наличии множества программ по адаптации.

Graduation paper is devoted to migration problems in the European Union, particularly in Germany. The author analyzes the process of social adaptation of third-wave migrants in Germany and the prospects for the development of the migration situation in the country. For this purpose, the essence of social adaptation in the complex of tasks of the migration policy is considered and a retrospective analysis of migration waves to the EU countries is carried out, revealing and systematizing the distinctive features and prospects for the development of the third migration wave in comparison with the previous ones. In conclusion, the weak effectiveness of the migration policy in different parts of Europe becomes visible, even if there are many adaptation programs.
