Socio-cultural life of Azerbaijanis in Turkey

Abstract

В данной дипломной работе исследована роль коллективного мифа о родине в жизни азербайджанской диаспоры в Турции и его влияние на общественно-культурную деятельность членов диаспоры. В работе изучены темы теоретического осмысления концепции диаспоры и истории развития азербайджанского общества в Турции, на основании чего сформулирован вывод о правомерности рассматривания азербайджанцев, проживающих в Турецкой Республике, в качестве диаспоры. Далее в работе проанализированы основные моменты концепции родины и характер общественно-культурной жизни диаспоры, выраженной в организационных структурах, имеющих культурно просветительскую направленность. Также рассмотрена история развития организаций азербайджанской диаспоры, выступающих в качестве основного проводника распространения и укрепления образа родины среди этнодисперсной группы. Дипломная работа состоит из введения, трёх глав, заключения и списка использованных источников и литературы. В дипломной работе использована 1 схема, 1 таблица, 97 источников литературы. Общее количество страниц дипломной работы - 133.

This graduation work explores the role of the collective myth about the homeland in the life of the Azerbaijani diaspora in Turkey and its influence on the social and cultural life of diaspora members. The theoretical interpretation of the concept of diaspora and the historical development of the Azerbaijani society in Turkey are studied. Based on that studying it is possible to draw a conclusion that Azerbaijanis residing in Turkey can be cosidered as a diaspora. Then the paper looks at the main points of the homeland conception and the diaspora social and cultural life, which are realized as organisational structures whith the cultural and educational orientation. Also, the history of the development of the Azerbaijani diaspora organisations, which act as a main conductor for spreading and strengthing the image of the homeland among the ethno-disperse group, is considered. The graduation work consists of an introduction, three chapters, a conclusion and a reference list. There are 1 scheme, 1 table and 97 references in the graduation work. The total number of pages is 133.
