Creation of the bathymetry database for the southern part of the Baltic Sea (within the jurisdiction of the Russian Federation) according to the requirements of the S-1xx series standards for the purpose of preparation and publication of nautical charts

Abstract

С развитием технических средств сбора и обработки информации, внедрением цифровых технологий в области морской картографии, в настоящее время, существенно меняются формы представления навигационных и гидрографических данных, виды картографической продукции и способы её доведения до потребителей. Данная работа посвящена модернизации, на основе требований современных международных стандартов в области морской картографии, технологических процессов с целью создания базы батиметрических данных в интересах актуализации всех видов морских карт.

Nowadays the presentation forms of navigational and hydrographic data, cartographic products and the way of cartographic data distribution change significantly because of the development of new technical means of collecting and processing information and bringing digital technologies to the field of nautical cartography. The work is devoted to the modernization of technological processes of creation the bathymetry database for the benefit of maintaining all types of nautical charts up to date according to the requirements of modern international standards in the field of nautical cartography.
