Proposals for the comprehensive modernisation of the environment of the Museum of Military Medicine (2 Lazaretnyi pereulok, St.Petersburg)

Abstract

Проект содержит пояснительную записку на 44 листах и проектную часть, состоящую из необходимых схем, чертежей и 3D визуализации, представленную в виде иллюстративного приложения на 9 листах, 3 выставочных планшетах 1400х1000, в формате презентации и видеоролика. 1. Актуальность темы и выбор объекта для разработки: Последние крупные преобразования производились в музее в 1985-2001 годах. Сейчас появились возможности вывести экспозиционные объекты на новый уровень взаимодействия со зрителем и запланирована новая глобальная реконструкция всего музейного комплекса. Экспозиция и фонды музея военной медицины содержат множество ценнейших экспонатов, однако, экспозиция в целом воспринимается, как морально и физически устаревшая. Концепция предложения по комплексной модернизации среды «Музея военной медицины» должна быть подчинена идее медицины, как передового и инновационного направления науки. 2. Цель работы: Создание многофункционального музейного пространства, несущего образовательную, просветительскую, исследовательскую и научную функции. 3. Задачи работы: * изучить историю и деятельность музея военной медицины; * изучить существующий фонд, экспозицию музея, и выявить потенциал его развития; * проанализировать особенности здания, предназначенного для новой экспозиции; * изучить методы формирования среды современных музеев в мире и России, в особенности – музеев военной медицины; * предложить многофункциональное зонирование проектируемого пространства музея, с учётом разноплановой деятельности музея; * создать концепцию нового музейного пространства. 4. Краткое описание работы 4.1. Изученный материал и структура пояснительной записки: При работе над проектом были изучены учебные пособия по дизайну музейного пространства, исследования по истории военной медицины, аналоги мировой и отечественной практики организации музейного пространства, современные технологии демонстрации выставочного материала. Структура пояснительной записки состоит из введения, трех глав основной части и заключения. Первая глава посвящена анализу истории формирования и становления музея военной медицины; вторая глава представляет собой анализ отечественного и мирового опыта организации и оснащения выставочного пространства, третья глава посвящена непосредственно проектному предложению. 4.2. Разработанные проектные предложения: В результате проектирования, используя средовой подход, было разработано комплексное предложение по организации в новом здании и модернизации существующей экспозиции военно-медицинского музея. 4.3 Краткое описание методик, технологий и программного обеспечения, использованного при подготовке ВДП. Проектная часть работы выполнена на основе 3D модели, созданной в 3ds Max 2018, чертежи созданы в AutoCAD 2018, пояснительная записка создана в программе «Microsoft Word», видеоматериал сформирован в программном комплексе Adobe After Effects, фотореалистическая визуализация произведена в программе «Lumion8».

The project contains an explanatory note in 44 sheets and a design part comprising necessary charts, drawings and 3D visualization materials, presented in the form of illustrative application in 9 sheets, 3 display sketch-boards 1,400x1,000, in the presentation and video-clip format. 1. Relevance of the subject and selection of the object for elaboration: The last major changes were carried out in the museum in 1985-2001. At present, it has become possible to bring the exposition objects to a new level of interaction with the viewer; a global reconstruction of the entire museum complex is planned. The exposition and holdings of the Museum of Military Medicine contain numerous valuable exhibits; however, the exposition is generally perceived as morally and physically obsolete. The concept of the proposal for comprehensive modernization of the environment of the Museum of Military Medicine should be subordinated to the purport of medicine as an advanced and innovative line of science. 2. Goal of the essay: Creation of a multifunctional museum space bearing educational, awareness-raising, research and scientific functions. 3. Objectives of the essay: • to study the history and activities of the Museum of Military Medicine; • to get an insight into the existing collection and the exposition of the museum, to reveal the potential for its development; • to analyze the specific features of the building intended for the new exposition; • to study the methods of forming the environment as practiced in the major foreign and Russian museums, especially the museums of military medicine; • to offer a multifunctional zoning of the museum space being designed with account of diverse activities of the museum; • to create a concept for the new museum space. 4. Brief description of the work: 4.1. The worked-over material and the structure of the explanatory note: During the work on the project, teaching aids on museum space design were explored, as well as the research materials on the history of military medicine, the analogues of the world and Russian practice of organization of the museum space, modern technologies of demonstration of the exhibition materials. The structure of the explanatory note consists of an introduction, three chapters of the main part and a conclusion. The first chapter is devoted to the analysis of the history of the Museum of Military Medicine, its formation and establishment; the second chapter represents the analysis of the Russian and international experience of organizing and equipping the exhibition space; the third chapter is devoted particularly to the design proposal. 4.2. Developed design solutions: Following the design work, a comprehensive proposal was developed using the environmental approach, for organization of the existing exposition of the Museum of Military Medicine in a new building, with its modernization. 4.3 Brief description of methods, technologies and software used in the preparation of the project documents. The design part of the work is based on a 3D model created in 3ds Max 2018; the drawings were executed in AutoCAD 2018; the explanatory note was drawn up in Microsoft Word; the video material was generated in Adobe After Effects software package; the photorealistic visualization was made in Lumion 8.
