| ru_RU |
dc.description.abstract | In this work a heating-assisted dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction procedure with extractant phase solidification (HA-DLLME-OPS) for HPLC determination of benzoic and sorbic acids in food products was developed. In the HA- DLLME-OPS the disperser solvent is not required, also it does not require additional equipment and can be combined with known detection systems. Menthol has been proposed as a green and cheap solvent for sample pretreatment and applied in this study. The proposed approach assumes the addition of aqueous sample to the extractant solvent (menthol) followed by heating the system what promotes menthol melting and its even distribution in aqueous phase by moving extraction solvent from down to top of the sample and, as a consequence, microextraction of target analytes. After that the obtained mixture is cooled for the solidification of liquid menthol phase, after menthol film formation the aqueous sample phase is removed via the syringe with needle. Finally, methanol was added to the solidified extractant solvent, thermostated, shaken and the obtained solution containing target analytes was analyzed by HPLC-UV. Optimal parameters such as sample volume, extractant volume, pH, extraction temperature, solidification temperature, solidification time were studied. Developed method was successfully applied to the analysis of juices, soft drinks and soy sauce samples and the obtained results were confirmed by reference method. The linear concentration range is from 0.1 to 150 mg/L for benzoic acid and from 0.05 to 100 mg/L for sorbic acid . Limit of detection is 0.03 mg/L and 0.02 mg/L, respectively. The developed scheme is simple, reliable, rapid, selective, and can be used for a wide range of liquid-phase food products. | en_GB |
