Islamic financial instruments: features and potential development in the Russian Federation

Аннотация к выпускной квалификационной работе по направлению 38.03.01 – «Экономика» на тему «Исламские финансовые механизмы: особенности и потенциал развития в Российской Федерации» студента Исаевой Элины Юрьевны Актуальность темы работы обусловлена текущим состоянием экономики России и внешнеэкономической ситуацией, которые диктуют необходимость поиска новых источников роста экономики. Цель работы заключается в выявлении особенностей функционирования исламских финансовых механизмов и потенциала их развития в Российской Федерации. Для достижения данной цели были поставлены следующие задачи: 1. Охарактеризовать базовые основы функционирования исламских финансовых механизмов: исламские финансовые принципы и исламские финансовые инструменты. 2. Проанализировать работу исламской финансовой индустрии, выявив особенности исламских финансовых механизмов и тренды их международной экспансии. 3. Оценить потенциал развития исламских финансовых механизмов в Российской Федерации, сформулировав рекомендации. Таким образом, в работе обобщены и систематизированы принципы и особенности функционирования исламских финансовых механизмов, выявлены тенденции их развития, аргументирована их востребованность в российской экономике. По итогам исследования зарубежного и российского опыта, предложены пути создания благоприятных условий развития исламских финансовых механизмов в России.

Abstract of the graduation paper "Islamic Finance Mechanisms: Special Aspects and Potential for Development in the Russian Federation" 4th year student of Saint Petersburg State University (SPbU), the field of study 080100 "Economics" Elina Y. Isaeva The relevance of the study depends on the current state of the economy in Russia and the external economic environment that highlight the need to explore new sources of national economic growth. The aim of the present study is to reveal the main features of Islamic finance mechanisms functioning and their potential for development in the Russian Federation. To achieve the aim of this research the following steps were carried out: 1. to describe the basic foundations of Islamic finance mechanisms functioning: Islamic financial principles and financial instruments; 2. to analyse the work of Islamic finance industry and to identify the special features of Islamic finance mechanisms and trends of their international expansion; 3. to assess the potential for development of Islamic finance mechanisms in the Russian Federation and to formulate recommendations. Thus, the study compiles and systemizes the principles and special features of Islamic finance mechanisms functioning, reveals trends of their development and justifies their relevance in the Russian economy. Building on foreign and Russian experiences, the author suggests ways to create an enabling environment for development of Islamic finance mechanisms in Russia.
