An analysis of children treatment demand for dental care

Abstract

Одним из методов изучения заболеваемости является анализ данных учета обращаемости за медицинской помощью. В большинстве случаев амбулаторная карта пациента позволяет получить представление о наличии заболевания обращающегося за стоматологической помощью. В связи с этим целью настоящей работы является анализ причин обращения детей за стоматологической помощью. Для реализации цели были поставлены следующие задачи: проанализировать распространенность различных стоматологических заболеваний у детей по данным литературы, сравнить литературные данные с данными по Санкт –Петербургу, выявить основные причины обращения детей различных возрастных групп за стоматологической помощью в Санкт – Петербурге, сравнить причины обращения в стоматологических учреждениях различных форм собственности, разработать рекомендации по выбору приоритетных областей подготовки специалистов, усилению направлений работы медицинских учреждений и развитию профилактической деятельности родителей, направленной на сохранение здоровья зубов детей. В проведенном исследовании было просмотрено 510 медицинских карт: 340 карточек СПб ГБУЗ «Городская детская стоматологическая поликлиника №6» Адмиралтейского района и 170 карточек частной клиники «Стоматология ДМ» Красногвардейского района. Карточки детей были поделены на 3 возрастные группы: до 6 лет, от 6 до 12 лет, старше 12 лет. Возрастные группы были выделены в соответствии с прикусом: временный, сменный и постоянный. Еще одним критерием при выборе медицинских карточек было первичное посещение стоматолога в 2017 году. В результате проведенного анализа были выявлены наиболее частые причины обращаемости детей к стоматологу, а также выявлена частота встречаемости стоматологических заболеваний, выявленных при первичном осмотре стоматолога в учреждениях различных форм собственности. Полученные результаты явились основанием для разработки основных рекомендаций связанных с выбором наиболее необходимых областей подготовки специалистов, усилением направлений работы стоматологических поликлиник и профилактической деятельностью родителей, направленной на сохранения здоровья зубов детей.

One of the methods for studying the morbidity is the analysis of data on the treatment of medical care. In most cases, the patient's outpatient card allows you to get an idea of the presence of a disease seeking dental care. In this regard, the purpose of this work is to analyze the reasons for the treatment of children for dental care. To achieve the goal, the following tasks were set: to analyze the prevalence of various dental diseases in children according to the literature, to compare the literature data with the data for St. Petersburg, to identify the main causes of treatment of children of different age groups for dental care in St. Petersburg, to compare the causes of dental treatment institutions of various forms of ownership, develop recommendations on the selection of priority areas for training specialists, strengthen the direction the work of medical institutions and the development of preventive activities of parents, aimed at maintaining the health of children's teeth. In the study, 510 medical cards were examined: 340 cards of St. Petersburg State Pedagogical Hospital "City Children's Dental Clinic No. 6" of the Admiralteysky District and 170 cards of the Private Clinic "Stomatology DM" of the Krasnogvardeisky District. The cards of children were divided into 3 age groups: up to 6 years, from 6 to 12 years, over 12 years. Age groups were allocated according to the bite: temporary, replaceable and permanent. Another criterion in choosing medical cards was an initial visit to the dentist in 2017. As a result of the analysis, the most frequent causes of the treatment of children to the dentist have been identified, and the frequency of occurrence of dental diseases detected during the initial examination of the dentist in institutions of various forms of ownership has been revealed. The obtained results were the basis for the development of the main recommendations related to the selection of the most necessary areas for training specialists, strengthening the work directions of dental clinics and preventive activities of parents aimed at preserving the dental health of children.
