Export orientation, corruption and company growth: The case of transition countries

Abstract

The goal of the thesis is to investigate the level of impact of corruption on the growth of export-oriented companies. Tasks are: 1) To investigate the level of influence of export-orientation on the growth of companies from countries with economies in transition; 2) To study the specificity of the effects of corruption in the form of bribes on the growth of companies in countries with economies in transition; 3) Examine the resulting feature of the impact of corruption on the growth of export-oriented companies. The research found that corruption does not affect the growth of export-oriented companies in countries with economies in transition.
