Author’s bilingual dictionary: A case study of Wisława Szymborska

Abstract

В магистерской диссертации был создан двуязычный авторский словарь языка поэзии Нобелевского лауреата, польской поэтессы Виславы Шимборской(1923 - 2012). Несмотря на активное развитие авторской лексикографии, в настоящее время существует лишь один двуязычный словарь писателя. Магистерская работа выполнена в традициях ларинской лексикографической школы. В качестве материала для словаря был выбран ряд стихотворений (25), объединённых общими темами: темой Античности и темой театра. Были использованы компьютерные технологии и, как следствие, создана программа для словаря. Словарь включает в себя 72 словарные статьи, наглядно демонстрирующие не только особенности ее поэтической системы, но и своеобразие ее философских взглядов, мировоззренческих и нравственных установок. Внимательное прочтение словарных статей позволяет более детально рассмотреть творчество писателя, а также увидеть богатство польского языка.

Author's bilingual dictionary of the language of poetry the Nobel laureate, Polish poet Wislawa Szymborska(1923 - 2012) has been created in this diploma work. Despite the active development of the author's lexicography, there is currently only one bilingual writer’s dictionary. The master's work is done in the traditions of the Larin’s lexicographical school. A number of poems (25) were chosen as a material for the dictionary, united by common themes: the theme of Antiquity and the theme of the theater. Computer technologies were used and, as a result, a program for the dictionary was created. The dictionary includes 72 dictionary entries that demonstrate not only the features her poetic system, but also the originality her philosophical views, worldview and moral attitudes. A careful reading of the dictionary entries allows to examine in more detail the writer's work, as well as to see the richness of the Polish language.
