Radiative transfer in the 4.3 μm band of the CO2 molecules in the daytime atmosphere of Mars

Abstract

Проведён анализ предыдущих и современных исследований по проблеме учёта нарушения ЛТР (по колебательным и по вращательным степеням свободы молекулы СО2) в моделях переноса излучения в атмосфере Марса. Реализованы три различные модели для столкновительных R-T процессов и исследованы рассчитанные по этим моделям константы скоростей процессов. Проведено сравнение этих констант и анализ их возможного влияния на оценки величин неравновесных населенностей колебательно-вращательных уровней молекул CO2 в задаче переноса излучения в 4,3 мкм полосе в атмосфере Марса. Серии расчётов величин констант скоростей R-T процессов проведены для температур, характерных для верхней атмосферы Марса. Выполнен анализ чувствительности этих величин от различных входных и внутренних параметров.

The analysis of previous and modern studies of the problem of non-LTE (on the vibrational and rotational degrees of freedom of the CO2 molecule) in models of radiation transfer in the atmosphere of Mars is carried out. Three different models for collisional R-T processes were realized and the rate constants of the processes calculated from these models were investigated. A comparison of these constants and an analysis of their possible effect on the estimates of the values of nonequilibrium populations of the vibrational-rotational levels of CO2 molecules in the problem of radiative transfer in a 4.3-μm band in the Martian atmosphere are made. A series of calculations of the values of the rate constants of R-T processes were carried out for the temperatures of the upper atmosphere of Mars. The sensitivity of these quantities from various input and internal parameters is analyzed.
