Globalization and its impact on the environment

Abstract

Глобализация является главной тенденцией развития современного общества. Она проявляется во всех сферах жизнедеятельности. Экономическая интеграция, миграция населения, порождающая взаимодействие культур, политическая интеграция в форме создания политических союзов стран и так далее – все это является проявлениями глобализации. Однако глобализация – это неоднозначный процесс и одним из ее следствий являются глобальные проблемы, создающие угрозу для существования всего человечества. Особо остро из них стоит проблема загрязнения окружающей среды. В связи с этим разработка экологической политики государства и сотрудничество стран в области предотвращения загрязнения окружающей среды являются первоочередными задачами глав государств. В данной работе был исследован процесс влияния глобализации на окружающую среду Китая. В работе рассмотрено понятие глобализации и ее концепции, концепция устойчивого развития, определены основные глобальные проблемы, являющиеся результатом процессов глобализации. Проведен анализ текущего состояния окружающей среды Китая и выявлены основные источники загрязнения. Дана характеристика экологической политики руководства Китая в области предотвращения загрязнения окружающей среды. В результате исследования были разработаны предложения по совершенствованию инструментов борьбы с загрязнением окружающей среды в Китае.

Globalization is the main trend in the development of modern society. It manifests itself in all spheres of life. Economic integration, population migration, generating interaction of cultures, political integration in the form of creating political alliances of countries and so on - all these are manifestations of globalization. However, globalization is an ambiguous process and one of its consequences is global problems that threaten the existence of all mankind. Particularly acute is the problem of environmental pollution. In this regard, the development of environmental policy of the state and cooperation of countries in the field of prevention of environmental pollution - are top priorities of heads of state. In this paper, the process of influence of globalization on the environment of China was investigated. The paper considers the concept of globalization and its concepts, the concept of sustainable development, identifies the main global problems that are the result of the processes of globalization. The analysis of the current state of the environment of China is conducted and the main sources of pollution are identified. The characteristic of the environmental policy of the Chinese leadership in the field of pollution prevention is given. As a result of the study, proposals were developed to improve pollution abatement tools in China.
