Demographic development in the Republic of Dagestan

Abstract

В работе была проведена оценка современной демографической ситуации в Республике Дагестан, а также специфики её динамики. Были рассмотрены основные демографические показатели и выявлены причины их изменений. Была дана качественная оценка демографических перспектив, и предложен ряд рекомендаций в рамках региональной политики.

In the present work an assessment of the modern demographic situation in the Republic of Dagestan wascarried out, along with the particularity of its dynamics. We examined the main demographic indicators and detected the reasons of their changes. A qualitative estimate of demographic prospects was proposed. Finally, a number of recommendations to regional policy was offered.
