Halogen bonds in associates of platinum(II) complexes with iodoform

Abstract

В данной работе четыре новых бромидных бис-диалкилцианамидных комплекса платины(II) транс-[PtBr2(NCNR2)2] (NR2 = NMe2, NEt2, N(CH2)4, N(CH2)5) были изучены как полифункциональные акцепторы галогенных связей при сокристаллизации с иодоформом. Структуры пяти ассоциатов исследованы с помощью рентгеноструктурного анализа. Кроме галогенных и водородных связей иодоформ-бромид, в структурах обнаружены редкие галогенные связи с участием металлоцентра в качестве основания Льюиса. Существование коротких контактов подтверждено с помощью теоретических расчётов, их оценочная энергия находится в диапазоне 1.5–3.5 ккал/моль.

In the work, new four bromide bis-dialkylcyanamide platinum(II) complexes trans-[PtBr2(NCNR2)2] (NR2 = NMe2, NEt2, N(CH2)4, N(CH2)5) were investigated as polyfunctional halogen bonding acceptors in the co-crystallization with iodoform. The structures of five associates were studied by X-ray diffraction analysis. Besides the iodoform-bromide halogen and hydrogen bonds, the rare halogen bonds with metal as Lewis base were identified in the structures. The existence of the short contacts was confirmed by theoretical calculations and the contact energies were estimated in 1.5–3.5 kcal/mol range.
