Open access publications in Web of Science – review of journals

Abstract

We analyzed the open access publications in all citation databases of Web of Science Core Collection and OA and hybrid journals in SCI-E, SSCI, AHCI and ESCI. The differences in Gold OA and Green OA by databases are demonstrated together with changes in total amount of open access publications in journal indexes. We compared the OA and hybrid journals by publishers and research areas by citation of OA and not OA publications. The special attention is paid for Russian journals, indexed in Web of Science.
