Organizational mechanisms of corporate entrepreneurship: Practices of international companies

Abstract

The thesis research field on corporate entrepreneurship and studies organizational mechanisms that are conducive to its establishment in the company. The relevance of the research is connected with the conceptualization and systematization of the studied phenomena and examination of the corporate innovative performance as one of the most argued outcomes of corporate entrepreneurship. The analysis of the sample of international companies allowed to confirm research hypotheses on the positive relationship between organizational mechanisms of corporate entrepreneurship and three types of corporate innovative performance. It brings vital contributions to the theoretical development of the problem field as well as supports the applicability of certain factors of the organizational context in enhancing the innovative performance of firms in the real-life context. The thesis also proposes practical assessment instruments for the phenomena in study.
