The Belyaus necropolis of the 2nd century BC – 1st century AD (North-Western Crimea): Cultural stratification of the site

Работа посвящена изучению культурного своеобразия варварского населения Беляусского городища по материалам одноименного некрополя. Могильник Беляус расположен на территории Северо-Западного Крыма и датируется в пределах начала II в. до н.э. – середины I в. н.э. Данный археологический памятник относится к раннему этапу позднескифской археологической культуры. Целью работы является выявление культурной стратиграфии некрополя Беляус, необходимое для дальнейших исследований однотипных памятников Крымской Скифии (II в. до н.э. – III в. н.э.) и изучения структуры позднескифского общества. Исследование опирается на широкий круг источников, большую часть из которых составляют современные научные труды.

The work is devoted to the study of the cultural originality of the barbarian population of the Belyausky settlement on the basis of the necropolis of the same name. The Belyaus burial ground is located on the territory of the North-Western Crimea and dates back to the beginning of the 2nd century. BC. - the middle of the 1st c. AD This archaeological monument belongs to the early stage of the Late Scythian archaeological culture. The aim of the work is to reveal the cultural stratigraphy of the Belyaus necropolis, which is necessary for further studies of the same type of monuments of the Crimean Scythia (II century BC - III century AD) and studying the structure of the late Scythian society. The research is based on a wide range of sources, most of which are modern scientific works.
