Graphic and multimedia concept of the exhibition "Snow Crystals" for the World Ocean Museum-Reserve in Kaliningrad

Abstract

Данная выпускная квалификационная работа посвящена разработке графической и мультимедийной концепции выставки "Снежные кристаллы" для ФГБУК Музей-заповедник "Музей Мирового океана" в Калининграде. Введение работы подчеркивает важность исследования мирового океана, занимая центральное место в изучении климата, геологии и биосферы Земли. Проект включает теоретическую и практическую части: первая посвящена основным направлениям графического дизайна XX века, включая русский конструктивизм, фирменный стиль Петера Беренса и традиции Баухаус, вторая — разработке графического сопровождения музея. В работе рассматриваются задачи формирования устойчивой графической системы музея, а также исследуются визуальные принципы представления системы мирового океана, использование современных форм дизайна и новых методов графического проектирования.This thesis is dedicated to the development of a graphic and multimedia concept for the "Snow Crystals" exhibition at the Museum of the World Ocean in Kaliningrad. The introduction emphasizes the importance of ocean research, which plays a central role in studying the Earth's climate, geology, and biosphere. The project consists of theoretical and practical parts: the former focuses on the main trends in 20th-century graphic design, including Russian Constructivism, Peter Behrens' corporate identity, and Bauhaus traditions; the latter focuses on creating graphic support for the museum. The thesis explores tasks such as forming a sustainable graphic system for the museum and examining visual principles for representing the World Ocean system, alongside using contemporary design forms and new graphic design methods.
