Econometric methods of incorporating inflation expectations into strategic planning at the enterprise

Abstract

Работа посвящена изучению методов учета инфляционных ожиданий. Рассмотрены основные теоретические концепции: теория адаптивных и рациональных ожиданий, модели параметрического и непараметрического прогнозирования, а также методы количественной оценки инфляционных ожиданий, используемые Банком России. С помощью модели множественной регрессии роведен анализ влияния инфляционных ожиданий агентов на принятие стратегических решений на предприятии.

This paper is dedicated to the study of forming and measuring the inflation expectations. The main theoretical concepts are overviewed: adaptive and rational expectations theories, parametric and nonparametric prediction models, and methods of quantitative estimation of inflation expectations used by the Bank of Russia. The influence of inflation expectations of agents on the adoption of enterprise's strategic decisions was analysed using multiple regression model.
