Russia and the Trans-Pacific Partnership in the 21st century

Abstract

Транстихоокеанское партнерство (ТТП) прошло путь от небольшой сделки Транстихоокеанского стратегического экономического партнерства между четырьмя малыми государствами (Новая Зеландия, Сингапур, Чили и Бруней), до серьезного проекта, переговоры по которому в настоящее ведутся с участием одиннадцати ведущих стран АТР. Многие из стран АТР входят в число мировых лидеров по темпам экономического роста. Взаимодействие стран этого региона и России представляется крайне актуальным вопросом для изучения. Целью исследования является изучение Транстихоокеанского партнерства, а также рассмотрение его в отношении к Российской Федерации.The Trans-Pacific partnership (TPP) has grown from a small deal, the Trans-Pacific strategic economic partnership between the four small countries (New Zealand, Singapore, Chile and Brunei) to a serious project on which negotiations now are underway with the participation of twelve leading countries of the Asia-Pacific region. Many of these countries are among the world leaders in economic growth. Highly relevant issue to explore is the interaction of the Asia-Pacific region and Russia. The purpose of the research is the study of the Trans-Pacific partnership, and consideration of it in relation to the Russian Federation
