Abstract
Purpose: to systematize the development strategies of private multi-field clinics under the
new geopolitical conditions in Russia and to analyze the impact of sanctions policies on them,
and to identify directions for leveling it out. Methodology: The Ansoff method, content
analysis, statistical, analytical, and abstract-logical methods were used to systematize the
development strategies of Russian private multi-field clinics. The information base for the
study consisted of regulatory legal acts in the field of medical services, annual reports of
medical clinics and analytical agencies, data from the Federal State Statistics Service of the
Russian Federation, the materials from the associations of private clinics. Findings: the
practice of levelling out the sanctions pressure on the Russian economy in the healthcare
sector is generalized and the development strategies of private clinics under the new geopolitical
conditions in Russia are systematized using the Ansoff model. Originality and contribution:
the study is the first attempt to systematize the development strategies of private multi-field
clinics in the context of sanctions pressure on the Russian economy and to generalize the
practice of levelling out the negative impact of sanctions on the private healthcare sector.
The findings of the study are relevant for both academic researchers from the commercial
healthcare and for managers of private Russian clinics.
