Abstract
The present study of modern trends of danish phonetic norm is based on such codification sourses as dictionaries, study manuals and rules used for building of the danish speech synthethis system DST. As a result of codification sourses analysis the typology of phonetic contexts with the possible elision of schwa was worked out. Within the framework of the present research the set of recordings of words having phonetic combinations corresponding to two types identified earlier were instrumentally processed. The typology of phonetic contexts gives an opportunity of making predictions on schwa realisations and implemented methodology of phonetic combinations' analysis can be used for identification of different types of schwa reduction.
