Abbreviation in English scientific functional style

Abstract

Данная дипломная работа посвящена изучению особенностей аббревиатуры научного функционального стиля в различных текстах，основана на работах известных лингвистов и использует методы анализа и классификации для изучения характеристик аббревиатур в английском научном функциональном стиле. Первая глава посвящена аналитическому обзору литературы и рассмотрению основных теоретических положений по теме исследования, а именно: понятие научного функционального стиля, классификации типов научных текстов, понятие и видов аббревиации. Вторая глава посвящена анализу сокращений в разных типах научных текстов в английской лингвокультуре.This thesis is devoted to the study of the characteristics of abbreviations in the scientific functional style in various texts; it is based on the works of famous linguists and uses methods of analysis and classification to study the characteristics of abbreviations in the English scientific functional style. The first chapter is devoted to an analytical review of the literature and consideration of the main theoretical provisions on the research topic, namely: the concept of scientific functional style, classification of types of scientific texts, the concept and types of abbreviation. The second chapter is devoted to the analysis of abbreviations in different types of scientific texts in English linguistic culture.
