Ideas of conceptism and culturanism in poetical works by Francisco de Quevedo, and Luis de Gongora

Abstract

В данной работе проводится анализ стилистических и концептуальных особенностей двух литературных направлений эпохи Бакрокко: консептизма и культеранизма. В центре внимания находятся поэтические произведения наиболее ярких представителей этих направлений в художественной литературе Испании. Направление консептизма представлено творчеством Франсиско де Кеведо, а культеранизм – поэзией Луиса де Гонгора. В диссертации производится выборка, авторский перевод и сравнительный анализ их произведений. Результатом исследования является сравнительная оценка стилистических и художественных приемов, используемых авторами, а также выявление сходства и/или различия частотности их применения, как в творчестве поэтов, так и в данных литературных направлениях.In this paper analyzes the stylistic and conceptual features of two literary trends of the Baroque era: conceptismo and culteranismo. The focus is on the poetic works of the most prominent representatives of these trends in the fiction of Spain. The direction of conceptismo is represented by the work of Francisco de Quevedo, and culteranismo is represented by the poetry of Luis de Gongora. The dissertation contains a selection, author's translation and comparative analysis of their works. The result of the study is a comparative assessment of the stylistic and artistic techniques used by the authors, as well as the identification of similarities and / or differences in the frequency of their use, both in the work of poets and in these literary directions.
