Influence of the "Svenskhet" concept on Swedish migration policy

Abstract

Тематика выпускной квалификационной работы связана с изучением социально-политических составляющих популяризации концепции «svenskhet» («шведскость»), имплементация положений которой оказывает значительное влияние на миграционную политику Швеции. Автор изучает особенности зарождения, становления и модификации концепции «svenskhet» («шведскость») в исторической перспективе и оценивает её влияние на миграционную политику современной Швеции посредством анализа научных трудов, обосновывающих сущностные составляющие международной миграции, основополагающих аспектов миграционных процессов и миграционной политики Швеции до 2014 года, условий возникновения и протекания и последствий Европейского миграционного кризиса. Также в фокус авторского внимания попадают научное понимание национальной идентичности, содержательные характеристики концепции «svenskhet» («шведскость»), процесс формирования “новой” шведской национальной идентичности. В работе обобщены особенности исторических периодов становления партии «Шведские демократы», определены причины успеха партии на национальной политической арене, а также перспективы изменения политического ландшафта и политики Швеции на внутреннем и внешнем контурах.The theme of the final qualifying work is related to the study of the socio-political components of the popularization of the concept of “svenskhet” (“swedishness”), the implementation of which has a significant impact on the migration policy of Sweden. The author studies the features of the origin, formation and modification of the concept of “svenskhet” (“swedishness”) from a historical perspective and assesses its impact on the migration policy of modern Sweden through the analysis of scientific works that substantiate the essential components of international migration, the fundamental aspects of migration processes and migration policy of Sweden until 2014, conditions of occurrence, development and consequences of the European migration crisis. The author’s attention also focuses on the scientific understanding of national identity, the substantive characteristics of the concept of “svenskhet” (“Swedishness”), and the process of formation of the “new” Swedish national identity. The work summarizes the features of the historical periods of formation of the Swedish Democrats party, identifies the reasons for the party's success on the national political arena, as well as prospects for changing the political landscape and politics of Sweden on the internal and external contours.
