On the problem of inheritance of awnless condition in crosses of awned and awnless barley varieties

Abstract

We studied the inheritance of awnless and segregation by crossing awnless and awned variety of barley. It was clear that three awnless varieties of barley are essentially different genetically. The variety naked-awnless 18 (K-17348) has hidden inert gene hood, which was discovered In combinations K-1734-8 x awned variety. Segregation in Fg was 9 hooded: there were 7 unhooded plants. There was not a gene hood in the variety Sicapri 7 (K-19466) and the variety from Ethiopia K-17554. In the combinations with the variety Sicapri 7» the awnless dominated but with the variety K-17554 it was recessive. This article contains genetical basing of segregation in these combinations

Изучалось F1-F3 от скрещивания безостых образцов ячменя разного происхождения с остистыми сортами. В зависимости от генотипа безостого образца в первом поколении наблюдалось проявление фуркатности, доминирование безостости или остистости. Дается генетическое обоснование расщепления в разных комбинациях
