The idea of creative life in Russian and Italian culture: V. Bryusov and G. D'Annunzio

Abstract

Исследование посвящено идее и феномену жизнетворчества в культуре модерна, русской и итальянской литературе рубежа XIX-XX веков. В частности, особое внимание уделяется идее жизнетворчества в поэтике символизма и в итальянской литературе этого же периода. На примере биографии и творчества представителей двух культур – В. Брюсова и Г. Д`Аннунцио – феномен жизнетворчества раскрывается как характерная особенность культуры модерна.

The research focuses on the idea and phenomenon of life creation in the culture of modernity, Russian and Italian literature of the turn of the XIX-XX centuries. In particular, special attention is paid to the idea of life creation in the poetics of symbolism and in Italian literature of the same period. The creation of life phenomenon is revealed as a feature of the culture of modernity on the example of the biography and creative work of V. Bryusov and G. D`Annunzio.
