The article demonstrates the main activities that took place at the museum on Liteiny Prospekt 36 in the early 1950s. The correspondence of V. E. Evgenyev-Maksimov with O. V. Lohman discloses the problems at the apartment-museum of Nikolay Nekrasov in Leningrad. This sheds some light upon several chapters of museum’s history and shows the significance of museum work for the well-known scholar who was behind its creation. Refs 3.en_GB
