dc.description.abstractThis article presents a new version of Legend of Kondolon, the main patron of the Manden hunters, recorded in 2016 in Nyagassolya village (Northern Guinea). We’ve done the analysis of this version and compared it with some other well-known versions of the myth about Kondolon and Saane. There are several variants of the myth about the founders of the hunters Kondolon and Saane. The text presented in of the article can be defined as a legend that explains the origin of the hunters’ main fetish Kondolon. Refs 10.en_GB
