dc.description.abstract	These new paleontological data on the age of the Kuchcinski formation, which is spread widely across Southwestern and Central Crimea. The ammonite Malbosiceras cf. malbosi (Pictet) was first identified and described as lying in an average subformation, the Kuchcinski formation, near the village of Mezgorie (Central Crimea). On this basis, this part of that section can be referred to the upper berriasian boissieri zone. Refs 14. Figs 3.	en_GB
